Sorry to confuse everyone but I decided to change the name, and if it was going to happen it had to be now before it was to late...

I changed it to Leah Remillet Photography .... Here's why, Remillet is my middle name (Rem -i- lay) and after our trip and asking everyone we visited which one I should go with it was unanimous to use my middle name, more artistic sounding :) as well as it will help keep my family private from my work.

Just a fun little shoot I did with the kids. I really wanted to do 2 things, use my new black back drop I bought yesterday and get to try out these wings, I think they are so fun, I'm sure you will be seeing them more in the future...

It has been a very disappointing week. I have been sick - the really awful contagious kind that mean you do not go out side... It's been extremely frustrating because I have two babies to shoot and i have to wait until I'm 100% because I am just not taking any chances with those precious little ones. BUt when you wait - they grow! So here I am. Trying to contain all my nasty germs into one home and zap them with my can of lysol, only now despite my best attempts and keeping it from them it seems that the hubby and the kiddos are coming down

with it too. So it appears it may be one more week before I get out side.

So instead of people I thought I would post some awesome spots that I have found around the area and am so excited to use!! I really love the background! In a story you paint magic, romance, intrigue, mystery... what ever you want using a fabulous backdrop and when it comes to photography it's the exact same! So here is a recent location that I am really excited to use more of.... Soon the tulips will be blooming, what a great Easter / Spring shoot... Call soon!

Here is the sneak peak for this adorable family of three. They were such great sports, especially because later that day it snowed... But they braved the weather and we captured some cute images. And I have to tell you... this little guy is as sweet as he is cute, he's an absolute doll! Your disk will be ready soon!

This week I had the privilege of photographing one of my dearest friends, Carrie. Isn't she gorgeous! She is expecting her first little one in April and it was a joy to capture this very special moment in her life. We had so much fun and she was so great about the less than professional circumstances (I had my kids - and Paysen was enthralled with pulling down on her skirt).

Aspiring to have my own photography business means lots and lots of practice as I attempt to improve my skills... Luckily I have some adorable kids (if I do say so myself, and I do!) to practice on. So on a recent sunny day we drove all over town while I searched out locations with nice backdrops, and this is what we ended up with...

For these next 2 I couldn't decide what coloring I liked better...

Last month I went to Seattle to take care of 5 kids and their house while mom and dad enjoyed a vacation just the two of them. It was craziness having the 5 Sessions plus 3 of my own, but we had fun, kept the house standing and even managed to sneak in a secret photo shoot to surprise mom and dad...
